How will my business benefit from being a member of Devon Chamber of Commerce?

As a member of Devon Chamber of Commerce your business will have a range of support, money saving discounts and opportunities available within the business community.

What networking opportunities are available for me if I join the Chamber?

The Chamber hosts over 80 networking events every year. With 12 free events for Chamber members each year your membership will support you in your networking.

With breakfast, lunch and after work events you’ll be able to fit your networking around your business needs.

Do I still have to pay to attend events and training?

Some of our events and training sessions are free to attend for members as an additional member benefit. For other events Members receive a discount price, making it more affordable for you and your employees to engage with other local businesses.

How can my business save money through the Chamber?

Membership to Devon Chamber provides your business with a variety of money saving opportunities through available member benefits.

Your membership entitles you to free access to our Business Support Helpline, discounted City Centre parking permits and a host of other discounted business services as well as the member to member discounts offered by Chamber members for members and all their employees to take advantage of.

How do I know how much my membership will cost each year?

Your membership fee will be calculated based on the number of employees within your company. This helps us to cater your membership benefits to suit the size of your business.

How can I use the member benefits?

Every membership of Devon Chamber of Commerce is a corporate membership therefore, member benefits are available for all employees of Chamber member businesses. To access your member benefits simply log in to the members area of the Chamber website and click on the Member benefit tab. This will give you a full list of the available member benefits and how you can claim them.

How will membership help me grow my business?

As a member of Devon Chamber of Commerce your business is part of the largest independent business network in the county. With over 800 member business you will be able to make new contacts and raise the profile of your business.

What does the Chamber offer to support me and my business?

Members are entitled to free business support via our business support helpline. As a member you will have access to our knowledge hub – giving you the advice and business information you need to stay up to date in business.

Chamber membership also entitles you to access to our Chamber Mentoring service, offering you free support and advice from other Chamber members to help you grow your business. See more detail here.

What happens if I don’t want to renew?

We hope that this will not be the case, but if you wouldn’t like to renew your Chamber membership for another year simply provide us with written notice of your intention to leave the Chamber. This can be given by post or email, but must be received before your membership renewal date.
